My debut album 'Holes' centers around the process of trying to fill emotional holes with external things that don't necessarily fit. These songs begin to address this by going into the black "hole" of these emotions instead of around them.
The thread throughout the album is staying with my emotions and getting to the other side instead of running away, no matter how big or small the challenge presented.
We never know how much our lives can change on the other side of the black hole until we go through it. All of the songs are about transformation in some way- lessons learned, relationships realized and ended, and other people’s stories that serendipitously turned into mine.
What is ‘Holes’?
‘Holes’ is my first full-length, fully ORIGINAL album! I have been writing songs since I was 14; this album is a long time coming!
I wanted this album to be simple yet powerful, and delicately real.
To do that I needed the best recording engineer, who specializes in my sound. I've found that in David Whitney at The Root Cellar Studio!
I also have the most amazing musicians on Maui contributing on a few tracks - you are helping me to pay them what they deserve!

The Impact
'Holes' is a collection of songs detailing the inner journey into some of our deepest emotional holes - you know, the ones we try to fill with other stuff: relationships, food, media, status, etc.
I have been told by many people that my songs are an expression of exactly how they felt!
If I can touch one person by helping them feel less alone, or inspiring them to explore their own feelings more deeply, I will have succeeded.
But better than one of course, is thousands!It is my hope that this album will help contribute to more self-acceptance and honesty in the world, both with oneself and with others.
I hope to inspire by example: vulnerability, intentional expression and heart-opening in this crazy world. I am committed to acceptance, alignment and courage.I have been dreaming of making this album a reality since I put out my first ‘Lay Down Easy’ EP in 2016.
